Wrods from 2008 to lead into 2009

Enjoy.. Thankyou... God Speed in 2009..
Your friend always T-hoe (BF for life)

A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself-and especially to feel, or not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at any moment is fine with them. That's what real love amounts to - letting a person be what he really is. - Jim Morrison

A friend knows the song in my heart and sings it to me when my memory fails. - Donna Roberts

Anybody can sympathize with the sufferings of a friend, but it requires a very fine nature to sympathize with a friend's success. - Oscar Wilde

Blessed are they who have the gift of making friends, for it is one of God's best gifts. It involves many things, but above all, the power of going out of one's self and appreciating whatever is noble and loving in another. - Thomas Hughes

Friends hold both the power to excel your life, or destroy it. - Adam Murphy

In giving advice seek to help, not to please, your friend. - Solon

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within. - Elizabeth Kubler-Ross

A friend is someone who is there for you when he\'d rather be anywhere else. - Len Wein

"Doubt thou the stars are fire. Doubt that the sun doth move. Doubt truth to be a liar. But never doubt my love". William Shakespeare in Hamlet, Act ii, Sc.2

My friend, if I could give you one thing, I would give you the ability to see yourself as others see you... then you would realize what a truly special person you are. - Barbara A. Billings

The Charles Schulz Philosophy

The Charles Schulz Philosophy

(Scroll thru slowly and read carefully to receive and enjoy full effect)

The  following is the philosophy of Charles Schulz, the creator of the 'Peanuts' comic strip.

You don't have to actually answer the questions.

Just read the e-mail straight through, and you'll get the point.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.

2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.

3.. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant.

4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.

5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.

6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you  do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday.

These are no second-rate achievers.

They are the best in their fields.

But the applause dies..

Awards tarnish.

Achievements are forgotten.

Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.

2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.

 3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.

4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated  and special!!

5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time  with.

Easier?

The  lesson:

The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials..

the most money....or the mos  awards.

They simply are the ones who care the most.

Pass this on to those people who have made a difference in your  life, like I did.

'Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's  already tomorrow in Australia!'
