    I would like to THANK EVERYONE who has donated and helped me raise money for our Wounded Warriors and Livestrong (cancer foundation).  With you help we have been able to give JUST A LITTLE back and I appreciate everything..
  Pictures and updates will be given sent after the event next Saturday..  All it takes is 17 minutes of my time to do this for these awesome organizations and in the name of a friend of mine we lost in Afghanistan. (A..K..G).
   So thank you again for your support..  WISH me Luck

p.s.
  In case you are wondering if I have any GOALS during the event.
1st - To be respectable
2nd- (most important) to attempt to maintain AT LEAST a NINETEEN rep count during each station.. NINETEEN for ADAM !!

Arnold Update

Well Well Well,
Been a bit, so I thought I'd add a few lines. Things are going well in Middle TN... Been to a few fires off base - rural firefighting calls for lots of water... and with no hydrants, we get called for the tanker, and an engine for manpower.
The best call thus far has to be from last week. Headed to the gym at about 2... Dispatch tones out an emergency - medical of course. Man passed out, fell out of his chair and is unconscious. I flip on the lights, and do a u-turn. Around the corner, and there is dude directing me to the location. Ambulance is about 3 seconds behind me and we get on scene and someone says " I think they are doing CPR in there". YA THINK??? I run inside and yup.. CPR in progress! I put that on the air and go check for a pulse... co-workers and doing compressions and breathing thru a pocket mask, good compressions and breathing -I got em to stop, checked pulse again and it's not there! Tell em to continue and in come my medics... Cut the shirt off... AED on and yup - shock advised! ZAP! - resume CPR... get the back board and stuff ready, round of CPR and time to check again... Shock advised... ZAP! still a flat line... onto the back board, stretcher... and one more check... ZAP again! Quick like to the ambulance... Medics are on the way off base... got a heart beat!!
They left him there in stable condition... waiting for a chopper ride to Nashville! He was discharged from hospital 5 days later!
I cut out a bunch of the BS... the small issues we had that I brought up in a debrief - and now I am being investigated (I swear) for threatening the medic! (Told him I knew how to handle the situation- can't wait 'til HR get a hold of this one). When ya wanna good laugh, email me and I will tell ya how that all went down!

Best part - The good Lord saw fit to allow us to be part of something really awesome and it's all good!!

Well I made it to the final destination.. Wish I could tell you how this place was but I would probably ruin your day..Just know that i am safe and have some food.. There is not much of ANYTHING else.. Not even sure how much internet time I will have so regularly updating the blog is out and going to school, going to the gym is all pretty much a wash for now..I guess work (10-18 hr days) and sleep for the next 6 months sounds like a new plan. Wish me luck..Oh and if you are wondering what i am doing..Emergency Management stuff..

Less than a week and one come back

Well I have less than a week and I am off to Afghanistan AGAIN.. Oh and JOHn has returned to the old stomping grounds.. Good luck to all those AIRMEN who need some REAL mentoring.. Go get'm John !!

Another one leaves

Well this past week, I got to watch another one leave. There is much I can say or do to ever thank you enough for being part of our life. Not sure why it never gets easier but the thing that makes it harder each time is watching your whole family get emotional when someone leaves.

I hope we all get a chance to get together again.

Merry Christmas

Well I guess it's that time of the year..I though I would take this opportunity BEFORE Christmas day to send out this Christmas, Holiday Wish to you all..

I would like to start with a couple things.

First.. Lets not forget the Soldiers, Airmen, Marines and Sailors that will not have this opportunity this year to celebrate with their family. Some of you on this e-mail, I KNOW right now, have BROTHERS & SISTERS deployed and that they MEAN THE WORLD to you. I know they are thinking of you right now. So SMILE and thank the lord for our FREEDOM that they protect. I know that YOU ARE first on their mind and they would do ANYTHING to be there with you as much as you with them..

Second.. To you all my FAMILY.. You know we would love to be able to spend this time of the year with you all but we too SERVE and protect the FREEDOM we all enjoy. We love and miss you all a bunch

Third..our FRIENDS (to include the extra special C..K..G & BFF) you all know how much you mean to me, I obviously wouldn't be me with you..THANK YOU again for allowing me the chance to be in part of your life.

The Jingle Bell Reunion Run

We got to get at least 4 of us together this morning for a BRISK run through Ft Walton beach..  Very nice course and as always.. We came away with at least ONE award, AND found a way to GRAB a Team trophy for a MIN.. LOL

 We almost got KILLED trying to use this trophy..LOL..  I think she said " I BETTER NOT SEE THIS IN THE PAPER"  LOL.. No..we are just carrying on a TEAM tradition relax.. We even let HER take the picture..

Thanksgiving

Well Well.... It's been a while since anyone has written so I I figured I would drop a couple sentences down. I may EDIT this numerous times this week so read it more than once to see  :-)

      Well I HATE to be the one to break the news to everyone but the Cuppys (BFF hangout) is now officially closed.. Windows are all papered up and all the employees are gone..  Can't believe it myself but when the cooperate office doesn't care about the ONE little store right down the street from the Main HQ then what are you to do.. OH.. and without warning anyone, they UP and moved to Alabama.. I guess HURRICANE insurance was tooooo much for the cooperate office to maintain...

So EVERYONE please take a MOMENT of silence for the DEATH of the Original BFF Hangout..
